From the “Choñi” (viewpoint in Mapudungun) hill, you can see the topographic changes and impact caused by a tsunami in Puerto Saavedra in 1960. This place is dominated by the Pacific Ocean, the union of the Moncul and Imperial rivers, the pine resort, and the Imperial River mouth and Mocha Island.
